End user – Productivity enhancements
InfoCenter for Office:
- Create new version as .DOCX when performing a Word native SaveAS to .DOCX
- Same support for .XLS to .XLSX and .PPT to .PPTX
- Failed check-in notification on impacted items
- A user may disconnect from the network or logout when documents are opened and were subsequently closed.
- They now see a notification for the failed check ins and can resume editing – check in
Administration – configuration enhancements
- InfoCenter Web based administration
- Lookup – metadata security configuration to setup or edit ethical walls
- Group management and forms configuration
- Define which profile forms are set as the Primary, Search, or Application specific forms for the group
- Group profile defaults configuration
- Set defaults like security or metadata when members of the group use the specific form
