The European Accessibility Act (EAA) aims to ensure equal access to information for all, regardless of disability. Derived from the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD), the EAA mandates compliance by June 28, 2025.

Hosted by OpenText, this briefing will share insights and experiences in making documents accessible for all. The session will tackle common challenges such as:

  • Handling large volumes of existing and legacy documents created before accessibility was a requirement.
  • Creating new documents that meet accessibility standards.
  • Providing for screen reader technologies.
